What happens at Tech Trek?
Tech Trek is a unique opportunity for rising 8th grade girls to learn about and experience STEM education, STEM projects, and STEM careers. Campers leave Tech Trek EXCITED about their future in STEM and CONFIDENT that they will be successful in whatever field they choose to pursue.

Why Tech Trek?
Teck Trek is a week-long, residential program that takes place on the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus each June. Where will I live/eat during Tech Trek?
Campers will live in a UAH residence hall with an entire floor reserved just for Tech Trek. The residence halls used for Tech Trek have a 4-person, suite-style floor plan. So, four girls will share a suite, with each girl in a private bedroom and two girls sharing a bathroom on each side of a common area. Tech Trek Counselors will be staying in suites on the same hallway as the campers.
Campers will eat most of their meals in the main UAH dining facility called the Charger Cafe'. Charger Cafe' provides a variety of food choices that will satisfy food allergies and restrictions. Some meals will be catered and we make every effort to respect all allergies and dietary restrictions.
